The power of the slightly nice words

One day, a man I bring Mahoma over and expressed his sadness and his frustration. He was feeling wretched for having discussed with anger with a friend. He was sorry about his slightly nice words and asked the prophet what could do to remedy it.
Mahoma advise the man to cross the city and to place feathers in the steps of many houses. he gave to him instructions to that he was leaving there the feathers during the night, which was gathering them in the morning and which was reported by him later.
On the following day, the man approached Mahoma with expression of distress.
Mahoma - the man complained-. I did what you said to me, but when I returned this morning to gather the feathers that I left last night, did not find any!- The same thing happens with your words - made clear Mahoma-, the same thing happens with your words - made clear Mahoma-, since they went out of you and did your work, not to be remembered again.
It's possible to re-measure the hurt caused by our bad or negative words, when declare other best words that replace them; nevertheless, it is more intelligent to be conscious that our words have much more power indeed that the majority of we imagine
.

Every word that does not bathed first with the thoughts turns into a stone thrown to our way.
Rudolph Steiner
